GERFAUT - 7000 km for Scientific Research

The week of August 15, the little white falcon provided almost 7000 km of data capture for the benefit of the AEROLAB scientific research laboratory (CNRS).
AEROLAB, via the laboratory of the Molecular and Atmospheric Spectrometry Group (University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne), is leading an innovative and ambitious project to quantify atmospheric gases of urban, agricultural or industrial origin.

To do this, it calls on a diverse panel of air assets (drones, aircraft, jets, balloons, satellites, etc.) in which GERFAUT has demonstrated its great relevance, both thanks to the technical results obtained, but also by the flexibility and costs adapted to these missions.
It is also an opportunity for pilots to make demanding and exciting flights, in the tradition of aeronautics to serve the common good.
Prepared by UrWingS this campaign shows once again the operational performance and modularity of the concept we have created
